Pre-registration for the 2018-2019 school year for current students and church members begins January 18th. Registration Cards and enrollment fees are due on February 9th by 2:30 p.m. Open Registration begins on February 27th at 9:00 a.m.
FUMC Day School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the programs and activities of the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies or admissions policies.
Please note that all new students must have current vaccines in order to attend FUMC Preschool and Parents' Day Out. If a child has a medical condition which requires an altered schedule of vaccines or no vaccines, we will consider making an exemption.
The school year begins in September, although students may start any time during the year, provided a space is available in the classroom. Because we keep our child-teacher ratios low, we have a limited number of available spaces. In fact, the Preschool and PDO are currently full for the 2017-2018 school year. Please see the Wait List Policy below.
FUMC Preschool and PDO Wait List Policy: A child is put on the wait list when contact is made with the Preschool or Parents' Day Out programs. This can be done over the phone, by email or in person. Confirmation of placement on the wait list should be received by email within 5 business days of request. Children are categorized on the list based on date of initial contact. Separate lists are kept for each age level. Priority spots are given to school staff, siblings of current students and FUMC church members. When a spot becomes available, parents are called in order of the placement on the wait list and have 48 hours to accept the spot. If there is no response or the parent denies, we will move to the next name on the list. The wait list does not carry over from year to year.
